Professional Bodies & Experience
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work according to their code of ethics.

My clinical experience is with adults from 18 to 70 years old, with concerns such as difficulties with narcissistic relationships, social interactions, depression or long standing sadness, anxiety & stress, work related difficulties, fears and or feelings of underachivement, relationship difficulties, compulsive behaviour, gambling, internet addiction, obsessions, panic, adapting to different cultures, sexual identity, addictions, trauma and abuse whether recent or historical (childhood), death of a loved one, coping and dealing with chronic illness and many others.
My clinical experience comes from working in the NHS and charity sectors and involves both long and short-term therapeutic work. My approach is psychodynamic, which means that I will be working with present and past experiences when reflecting on your current circumstances. This includes pointing out any conscious and unconscious unhelpful thoughts, patterns, and behaviour that might be leading to distress.

I have also a background in banking after working many years in the financial industry, which gives me a good insight into the issues faced by people in very demanding jobs.
